Welcome to the ongoing process of taking an idea into reality.
In 2018, a group of Nokomis High School students from central Maine became interested in the Raspberry Pi computer and what it could do. Pi's are inexpensive computing devices that can work much like the computer you're reading this on, except they're small and you supply the input / output for the machine.
We started with the Pi-Cade. A fun project that got our hands dirty and learned about building the system. We learned a lot about what works, what doesn't, and how much abuse a joystick can take from high school students!
This led to an even larger idea. What if we built our own full size, two player arcade system that would showcase the games that students in the district develop. And that's where our journey, and this blog, begins.
